I’m super excited to finally be able to make this post — today I’d like to share with you guys my first completely original song! I’ve never been great at coming up with original stuff from scratch, but I was playing around and somehow this came about.
It’s heavily based on Princess Yue from Avatar: The Last Airbender, but hopefully it’s a song that everyone will be able to enjoy even if they’re not a fan of the series. This is the first time I’ve tried something like this, so let me know what you think! I’m always open to feedback. :)

tokka week 2012 :: day 4 - duty
inspired by this wonderful fic my friend wrote for me (ff.net link)
(so i like explaining my gifsets for tokka week so this might get a bit long. you can delete what i say below if you feel like it. i’m cool with that.
IT’S TOKKA WEEK MEANING MY OTP WEEK MEANING THIS IS HOPEFULLY GONNA BE KICKASS. once again, in collaboration with the talented and amazing justine (completelytwitterpated). she’ll be doing day 1, 3, 5, i’ll be doing day 2, 4, 6 and we’ll both be doing day 7! i might be adding a few other tokka gifsets here and there though. even if they’re not related to the prompts.because i can that’s why.
so a few weeks back i requested from my dear friend, raissa, to write me a tokka fic (of course i requested tokka what else) and OMG I DIED FROM ALL THE FEELINGS OKAY JUST READ IT AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND OK. i originally had another plan for duty (idk if i’ll post it or not) but frances suggested i do this and omg i broke down in the middle of class you don’t even know guys i loved making this gifset

I truly believe that Toph was terrified when she got bloodbended by Yakone and Sokka was dying to protect her from him. She was truly blind at that time… It must have kill Sokka not being able to protect her…
